One of the best songs imo. Comes back to me now and then. Thank you also for not reacting with lyrics up. Most react channels focus on that and not the music. So many bands use vocals as an instrument and it isn't supposed to make sense, yet they psychoanalyze everything about them.

The question you ask, why can't the studio version sound like their live performance, is one The Warning has been working on. If you have an answer, let them know because they would love to do that. They know their lives are better than the studio. I think they've come the closest with Automatic Sun.

I often hear from reactors and non-musicians that the studio versions are how it was intended. I have no idea how this phrase could establish itself over decades, especially since it is actually completely untrue. At least in metal and rock. It may be different with pop, I don't know. Intended is what the artist has in his head and has played live himself before it goes into the studio and umpteen people work on it to clean everything. There is so much perfectionism until it is so perfect that it is no longer perfect or real. Today, you can make a singer out of any untalented Otto in the studio. That borders on fraud. I think the Warning said it right in an interview. Live is the ultimate and there you can see the song as it should be. And they said that they have always tried to transport what they manage to do live into studio versions, but unfortunately they have never managed to do it. But the album Error would be the closest so far.

Never forget. It's your channel. You do it however you want. If you lose some viewers because you chose to do the omv first or lyric vid or whatever. Then so be it. You won't be able to please everyone. so just do it your way and enjoy.

For what my opinion is worth, I personally love the reaction to both the studio version and the live version. I completely agree that what comes out of the studio is 100% what the artist wants us to hear. Unfortunately, there are a lot of live "hooligans" who almost despise the studio sound, which is a huge disrespect to the work of, in this case, The Warning. As I always say (me, absolute minority), I don't think you can or should compare both versions, but enjoy them with the advantages and disadvantages that each one has. And, above all, that it is your channel. Whoever doesn't like it should start their own.

Though most Warning fans are decent and house broken, some of them can be a pain in the a$$ in their drive to protect the young women every step of the way. It's sometimes crossing the line to being condescending even towards the sisters. The Warning concert I've been to though (Munich) had a very pleasant crowd. But obviously you're absolutely wrong about ranking Automatic Sun above HYCAD ;-)

The Warning is a PERFORMING band. The band and audience feed off each other in a synergy that a studio recording can't capture. They have stage presence out the wazoo. Fancy MTV-style videos can't capture that. Now and then, they'll let the audience fill in a lyric. They built their reputation on UA-cam videos of their live performances, and that's the way we think of them. On stage, performing.

Haters gonna hate. Block 'em LOL! Love both versions. Live version has echo, I think from the big hall they played in, that acts like reverb and smooths the bass and guitar 16th notes together where the studio version sounds...choppier?

Why would you react to the live version after you already reacted to the studio version. The artist's intent is what goes on the album. That's the true version. We pay good money to watch your reactions and you could at least do studio versions for us--especially not duplicates. I subbed.

En las ultimas grabaciones de estudio se exagera en los recortes, al punto de que no se siente tan real, no se siente organico. Igualmente Daniela se expresa mejor emocionalmente en vivo que en las grabaciones y eso hace que su interpretacion sea increible. Es una gran virtud sonar mucho mejor en vivo comparado con las grabaciones de estudio. Cuando logren transmitir esos elementos a una grabacion de estudio seran una de las mejores bandas contemporaneas de rock. Saludos desde Peru.

There are 2 or 3 guys who routinely find something negative to say or post snarky comments on nearly every reactor’s channel. I don’t know what their problem is - maybe they just lead a shitty life, or haven’t gotten laid in a while. I totally understand why you might want to listen to the studio version first, and when their new album Keep Me Fed drops next week, that may be the only option for the new songs for a while anyway. 👍 😎

I don’t know for sure but I think their record label and the producers they hire have a bit more control of the recording. Live is all The Warning Family. And they do it the best. I don’t listen to the recorded versions of most of their songs.

Why not the studio version? If you have watched the warning for quite a while as you say you have, you realize the importance of the connection with their audience. It is difficult to recreate the energy, passion and emotion in a studio. The warning thrives on exchanging that energy and passion with their fans. They are part of the audience and the audience is part of them. It just makes life that much more authentic and interesting.

sounds like a lot of mama drama defending your call, TW has way over 100+ good quality song and version performances and they all come with their own special little treats, at some point if you did stick with TW i'm sure you would eventaully get to them all, i say you do you so i can enjoy the song reaction at hand and get your take on it, im after how you felt about certain parts of the song jus by watching you react, all that mama drama just got in the way, i know it needs to be done tho so theres that but i got very little about the song at hand because it looked mostly defensive over the comments, i'm def in, thanks for sharing!!
